5.0 DTS HD MA 24/192kHzを聴いてみた。 全くとんでもないディスクが現れたものだ。 幽玄の中から響いてくる歌声が教会のホールトーンを伴い、文字通り時空を超越した空間へと誘ってくれる。 柔らかく透明感のある理想的な音空間はDXD 24/358kHzのフォーマットで録音されている。 聖母をたたえる賛美歌集だが、まるで誂えたように曲調が揃っている。 グレゴリオ聖歌等の影響も窺えて、素朴で美しい曲集となっている。 本来動画のない規格であるBlu-ray Audio ではあるが、本ディスクにはブルックナーの「アベ・マリア」のミュージック・ビデオが収められている。 これはメニュー画面からのアクセスで鑑賞が可能だ。 我が家の環境下では実行出来なかったが、mShuttle なる新機軸のシステムも搭載されており、これによりネットワーク上のPC経由でmp3, FLAC ファイルへのアクセスも可能となっているようだ。 但しこれは普通にディスクのフォルダーを開いてアクセスする事も可能だ。 SACDのハイブリッドディスクも同梱されているので、合計６種類のフォーマットで楽しむ事が可能となっている。
